? Graduate degree in Library Science ? Understanding of the construction of hierarchical subject indexes and the use of controlled vocabularies and thesauri in indexing of content. ? An advanced vocabulary and strong grammar skills. ? A love of language, an advanced vocabulary in the sciences. Experience with, and knowledge of, lexicography and linguistics is a plus ? The ability to problem-solve independently. ? Strong reading and writing skills. ? Computer literacy and good data entry/typing skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and Access. ? Strong written and oral communication skills. ? Familiarity with abstracting and indexing practices; willingness and aptitude to learn EP A&I practices. ? Must be able to work in a shared-office environment and handle heavy computer usage.
